How to Refill HP Integrated Ink Cartridges?

Refilling your HP printer’s ink cartridges yourself can extend their life and save you money. Follow this easy step-by-step guide to refill your HP integrated ink cartridges.


1. Open the printer cover and remove the empty cartridges.

2. What you'll need:

Empty ink cartrigdes, refill ink bottles, gloves, a sponge, and a pumping tool.

3. Peel off the cartridge label to expose the refill holes.

4. Remove the protective cap from the ink bottle needle.

5. Insert the needle into the refill hole and gently squeeze the ink bottle.

6. Refill with 1.5 layers of black ink and half a layer of each color ink (C, M, Y).

7. After refilling, place the pumping tool over the refill holes.

8. Pump the tool up and down 3-4 times.

9. When you see ink on the sponge, the refill is done.

10. Reinstall the cartridges and you're ready to start printing.
